Erasmusday Events are organized every year in order to increase the visibility and recognition of the “Erasmus Plus Grant Program”, which is carried out by the European Union Education and Youth Program Center and of which Gaziantep University is the beneficiary. These events have been held simultaneously all over the world since 2017, under the name of Erasmusdays. Within the scope of Erasmusdays Events, a series of events were held under the host of Gaziantep University (GAÜN) Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and under the coordination of GAÜN European Union Studies Center. Within the scope of the activities, “Erasmus Plus European Union Opportunities Seminar for Youth” was held for GAUN students, and “Preparation Meeting for Erasmus Plus KA2 Strategic Partnership Projects and New Term Applications” was held for academics.
“Notice the Disabled Without Barriers”
Under the coordination of Gaziantep University, a cognitive curriculum will be created within the scope of the Erasmus Plus Grant Program, Higher Education Strategic Partnership Projects within the scope of the higher education project accepted in 2019. One of the project coordinators, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Emine Koban stated that “We aimed to create a curriculum in higher education with the motto of noticing the disabled individual without barriers, based on the limited studies on physical arrangements in higher education, especially in Gaziantep University Faculty of Law and Medicine. For this purpose, we realize an exemplary and important cooperation between both the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Medicine. Together with Gaziantep University, this project will be carried out simultaneously with Uludağ University, AHE University from Poland and Thesally University from Greece.”
