Intellectual Output 1: Feasibility and analysis report on measurement of the perception and awareness regarding disability and disability rights in higher education
Although there have been various academic and non-academic analysis studies to determine the physical needs and the vital difficulties of the disabled people, analysis studies that can change the awareness and attitudes of individuals at the level of higher education are rare. However, the data and results obtained from this analysis are the main sources for the determination of the policies and approaches of the public administrations and decision makers, as well as of the universities and other related institutions towards the disabled people. Innovative aspect of this intellectual output, – This intellectual output will be a multidisciplinary output, which is intensely cooperative in terms of students’ acquisition of the social, legal awareness in the Faculty of Law, which is the basic education area that determines the rights-based living conditions of the society, and in the Faculty of Medicine where one of the basic education in health field is taken in our country. -There are no other studies whose reflections can be seen on the training and the curriculum in Turkey. Also,it is unique in terms of being an output that deals with the competences of recognizing existing legal and social rights in our country and using them at higher education level. The curriculum in higher education is important since it is an educational study whose contributions to social life can be noticed the most quickly and efficiently at the end of the study.- It is innovative in terms of evaluation of current studies in our country comparatively with the data of other transnational partners and its effective contribution for making policy as a result of these evaluations.One of the most important contributions to be obtained from this output of the project is that it is a guide study for other academic units at the higher education level.

Intellectual Output 2: Designing a Curriculum on Consciousness Raising regarding Disability and Disability Rights for Students in Higher Education
The main goal is to create a curriculum on consciousness raising regarding disability and disability rights on the basis of human rights for students in higher education and for other individuals in society by creating external benefits. In the content of the curriculum the issues such as disability and disability rights, disability legislation, employment opportunities, labor and social security legislation, tax legislation, basic communication, sign language education, communication techniques with subtitle, empathy, body language, comparative disability legislation and practices and so forth are foreseen.The final reports of the first intellectual output will be used to determine the topics of the curriculum.The studies for the creation of curriculum content and implementation of the curriculum will be carried out by being in cooperation with the universities, business world, public administrations and community which are among the priorities of the European Union.The innovative aspect of the project is to disseminate consciousness raising regarding disability and disability rights to the society starting from the university students.The studies which have been carried out so far on disabled people have focused mainly onimproving physical qualifications.

Intellectual Output 3: Distance Education Tool: Integration of Curriculum into Distance Education Module
One of the most fundamental universal problems of individuals with disabilities in higher education is that the right of equal access to educational opportunities is limited. The innovative aspect of this intellectual output is the non-availability of a distance education module for the curriculum, which is prepared in the basic content of disability and disability rights. Unfortunately, it may not be possible for the disabled people to attend the classes regularly due to the difficulties they face during the formal education process.It will be ensured that they take their training in full by means of the distance education module prepared for these special cases.
The prepared distance education module will contribute disabled and non-disabled students to acquire behavioral and attitude learning outcomes in the implementation of the curriculum.In this way, the conversion pace of this training module to external benefits will be high. The distance education module, which is prepared as an important output of the project, is expected to have a widespread effect on higher education institutions, institutions and organizations carrying out studies on disability at higher education level in our country and in transnational countries. Namely, the awareness level of those who take training with the said distance education module will increase about disability and disability rights. At the same time, the content of the module will be open to access for public institutions and non-governmental organizations dealing with disability and disability rights.
